In the given figure, AB || DC. If OB = 3OD and CD = 1.8 cm, then find the length AB.

Since AB || DC, $\triangle OAB\sim\triangle OCD$ (AA similarity, vertically opposite angles at O and alternate angles). $$\frac{AB}{DC}=\frac{OB}{OD}=3 \Rightarrow AB=3\times1.8=5.4\ cm$$
