Define mobility of a charge carrier. What is its relation with relaxation time?

Mobility $\mu$ = magnitude of drift velocity per unit electric field:
$$\mu = \frac{|v_d|}{E} = \frac{e\tau}{m}$$
where $e$ = charge of carrier, $\tau$ = relaxation time, $m$ = mass of carrier.
