Government College of Nursing, Indore is a state government nursing institution attached to the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College and Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital campus in Indore. It is affiliated to Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur and recognised by the Indian Nursing Council and the Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council. The flagship programme is the four-year B.Sc Nursing degree with a sanctioned intake of about 100 seats, supported by clinical training in one of the largest government hospital complexes in Central India. Eligibility for B.Sc Nursing is 10+2 with English and a minimum of 40 percent marks in the qualifying examination and in English individually from a recognised board, and candidates must be at least 17 years of age as on 31 December of the admission year and medically fit. NEET is not required for the B.Sc Nursing route. Admission is conducted through the counselling process of the Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh. As a government college, the fee structure is far lower than that of private nursing colleges in the city.
