Parikh Manilal Baldevdas Gujarati Science College, known as P.M.B. Gujarati Science College, was founded by Shri Gujarati Samaj, Indore and is one of the leading science colleges of the city. It is located on Nasia Road in central Indore and is affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), which was formerly the University of Indore. The college is accredited by NAAC with an A grade. Alongside the traditional science disciplines of Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, it has added applied subjects such as Microbiology, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biotechnology and Computer Science (Honours). Postgraduate M.Sc programmes and research centres for PhD study in Chemistry, Zoology and Botany are also run here. The library holds roughly 47,708 books along with about 97,000 e-books and 38,000 e-journals, and campus facilities include a table tennis hall, a wooden-floored badminton court and a gymnasium. Selection for B.Sc and M.Sc admission follows Madhya Pradesh higher education guidelines with total intake around 460 students.
