Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam University is a state private university in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, established in 2016 under the Ayushmati Education and Social Society. The campus is located on Dewas Bypass Road at Village Arandia, Post Jhalaria, roughly 10 km from Indore Railway Station and about 25 km from Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport. The university is recognised by UGC and approved by AICTE, with individual programmes approved by PCI, BCI, COA, NCTE and AYUSH, and it holds AIU and AUAP membership. Nine departments on the main campus collectively offer more than 100 courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and doctoral levels across Arts and Humanities, Sciences, Management, Pharmacy, Engineering, Commerce, Law and Education. Campus facilities include smart classrooms, advanced laboratories, a digital library, seminar halls, an auditorium, research and innovation labs, sports facilities, a central cafeteria and separate hostels for boys and girls. Scholarships are offered mainly under Government of Madhya Pradesh schemes for SC, ST, OBC non-creamy layer and minority students.
